Point cloud Sections

The utility reads a pointcloud ascii file and calculates sections on specific stations .

Step 1 Calculate Alignment

On step 1 select the alignment file and the pointcloud file. The procedure splits the file in 1GB parts for faster proccessing. After the proccesing you get files with txt extension. These files has converted the coordinates to Chainage, offset , dh using the alignment

Step 2 Calculate Sections

on the second step select the calculated files from the forst step , select the chainage list file and the folder to export the section files. On the export folder you get the sampled sections . These folder can be used from TunnelCAD with the command import scanner sections
